Preschool Transition Program

Starting school is a big milestone — for both children and their families. While it’s an exciting time filled with new opportunities, it can also bring uncertainty or anxiety as little ones take their first steps into a group learning environment.

At Little Me Studio, our Preschool Transition Program is thoughtfully designed to make that journey smooth, positive, and full of joy. We offer a developmentally appropriate, play-based curriculum that encourages exploration, social interaction, and creativity. Through a mix of engaging individual and group activities, we help children build confidence, independence, and a love for learning — all at their own pace.

This program is the perfect first step toward full-time preschool or kindergarten, serving as a gentle, supportive bridge from home to school.

ROUTINE

LEARNING IS FUN

Play is one of the main ways children learn. It helps to build self-worth by giving a child a sense of his or her own abilities and to feel good about themselves. Because it’s fun, children become very absorbed in what they are doing, which in turn, helps them develop the ability to concentrate.

Art & Imaginative Play
encourages creativity and expression of feelings, development of fine motor & socialization skills, interacting with peers in a positive way.

Music Play
helps develop rhythm, improves gross motor skills, and encourages social skills such as taking turns and sharing.

Sand & Water Play
an early introduction to science and math.

Snack Time
helps children practice eating with others: not touching their neighbor or their neighbor’s food, how to remain seated while eating, how to ask for more, what to do if a spill occurs.

SHORT DURATION

Our short, two-hour program provides an early childhood social experience for young children while orienting them gently to a new educational environment taking into account their attention span, level of interest, and home ties.

All major holidays observed.

FLEXIBLE OPTIONS:
Choose 1, 2 or 3 days per week! Pay MONTHLY
Offered on Monday-Friday 9:00-11:00am
Wednesday & Friday 2:00-4:00pm

Children enrolled in Little Me Studio’s Preschool Transition Program are admitted for the full session and tuition is not subject to change due to illness, absence, family vacation, or emergency closings.
