Preschool Transition Program

The transition from home into an educational and communal environment is an important step in a child’s life. But for some families, it may also be a time of considerable change and possibly even anxiety.

Little Me Studio's Preschool Transition Program offers a developmentally and age appropriate play-based curriculum featuring engaging and fun individual and group activities. Our approach to school readiness utilizes your child’s natural curiosity and need for exploration to bridge and overcome issues that may arise during the transition process making it a great first place to start and a wonderful stepping stone to your child’s next educational endeavor.

Children do not need to be bathroom independent.

We accept on-going registration until classes are full.  You pick the day you want to start and we will register you accordingly.

An environment that is structured and predictable allows your child to develop confidence and self-esteem and create a balance between dependence and independence organically and without fear or anxiety.

ROUTINE

LEARNING IS FUN

Play is one of the main ways children learn. It helps to build self-worth by giving a child a sense of his or her own abilities and to feel good about themselves. Because it’s fun, children become very absorbed in what they are doing, which in turn, helps them develop the ability to concentrate.

Art & Imaginative Play
encourages creativity and expression of feelings and develops fine motor skills

Music Play
helps develop rhythm, improves gross motor skills, and encourages social skills such as taking turns and sharing.

Sand & Water Play
an early introduction to science and math.

Block Play
helps with shape recognition, putting things in order, and logic.

Game Play
helps with sharing and interacting with others in a positive way.

SHORT DURATION

Our short, two-hour program provides an early high quality educational and social experience for young children while orienting them gently to a new educational environment taking into account their attention span, level of interest, and home ties.

Age Range: 2 - 5 Years

Class Size Limited to: 8

Duration: 2 hours

Session Length: 20 weeks

Prior Registration: Yes

All major holidays observed.

FLEXIBLE OPTIONS:
Choose 1, 2 or 3 days per week! Pay MONTHLY
Currently Offered on Mondays,Wednesdays & Fridays 9:00-11:00 AM

With the exception of “Drop In Option”, children enrolled in Little Me Studio’s Preschool Transition Program are admitted for the full session and tuition is not subject to change due to illness, absence, family vacation, or emergency closings. Class preference & availability is given to full-session enrollees before “Drop In” enrollees.
