ABOUT US

Little Me Studio is Kankakee County’s premier children’s activity space offering programs and creative art workshops for children age 6 months to 12 years.

We offer both parent-child and child-only programs designed to encourage exploration and socialization in a thoughtfully prepared environment that is fun as well as beneficial both for kids and their adults.

Our programs are available as REGISTERED or DROP-IN. Families can enroll in a full 4 or 8-week sessions or sign up for one class at a time.

Many of our programs are “multi-age”. We elected to set up our programs in this way with the intention of allowing children to benefit from the differences in experience, knowledge, and abilities of the other children in the group.

Our goal is to provide a nurturing environment for parents and children to relax, have fun together, and make new friendships and memories that will last a lifetime.

We also throw spectacular, hassle-free birthday parties featuring full set-up/clean-up and a party helper with decorations and activity materials included.

Hello! I’m Nikki Moore, the owner & director of Little Me Studio. I’m also a parent, like you! In 2015, my family combined my 20+ years of nursing

experience and the Montessori teaching experience of my daughters to open Little Me Studio. We believe in play-based learning and how it can positively impact childhood development while building vocabulary, social skills, empathy, exploration, and imagination. We believe that spending one-on-one time with our kids is important and fostering creativity and curiosity in our children through art, music and science develops independent thinkers and self-motivated learners. We meet amazing families and make new friends every day. It’s the best “job” ever! We love this place, and we hope you and your family will too!

Hello! My name is Ms. Brittany. I am a certified Montessori teacher for children age two to six years of age. I have 15 years experience working with preschool age children as both an assistant teacher and teacher in a Montessori classroom.
